Environmental Policy

Uvån Hagfors Teknologi AB (UHT) provides high quality processes and products to the iron, steel and ferroalloy industry. As suppliers of metallurgical processes and methods, we have a responsibility to communicate and provide process knowledge that ensure environmentally effective processes for our customers. Therefore, it is an important objective for UHT to develop and deliver products that not only have been manufactured in consideration to the environment, but also provide less environmental impact for our customers.

To achieve this we commit to:

• actively work to reach our environmental objectives and continuously update these in regard to the company's development and demands from industry and society
• continuously improve our products environmental performance by close collaboration with our customers and suppliers in order to design, manufacture and deliver products from a life cycle perspective
• prevent and minimize our products emissions and comply to all laws, demands and conditions from society and industry
• prioritize recycling of materials, effective energy consumption and renewable resources
• communicate our environmental work to colleagues, customers, suppliers and society
